Blacksmith Meets Opensider

Blacksmith Meets Opensider
The rugby shirt was never meant to be fashionable. It was made for being grabbed, pulled and dragged through mud, then washed and worn again the following week. So the cotton is heavy, the collar is reinforced, and the buttons are rubber because metal ones would hurt someone.
Nowadays the classic cotton rugby shirt has long since left the pitch and found a home on the street, worn with baggy jeans and 6-inch Tims in New York as easily as with wool trousers and horsebits in London.
For this one we styled a few Blacksmith pieces with the Opensider range. We put it under a Barn coat, over a pair of Super Weight Joggers, and tucked into work trousers with a decent pair of leather shoes.
Dressed up or dressed down, the Opensider Rugby Shirt’ll slot in, whatever your wardrobe is saying.
